3:12pm. A demo is scheduled for 3:30. The AE pulls up the lead in HubSpot. Company name. Email. Not much else.

They open a new tab. LinkedIn, check title, headcount, recent posts.

Another tab, the company's website, About page, blog, jobs board.

Crunchbase, funding, investors, when they raised.

Another tab, their competitors. G2 for any product mentions.

18 minutes in, they've got a rough picture. 22 minutes later, they're on the call, half-prepared, going in with a script that doesn't actually fit.

What the Research Agent does

You point Surface at a lead. It goes and does what your AE would do, except it does it in seconds, at every lead, whether or not a meeting is booked.

For every lead in your Lead Data Platform, Surface adds a new column: Company Research. Structured, current, deep. Recent funding, hiring signals, tech stack, competitor context, product mentions, buying triggers.

What it's not
